Job Purpose:

As a Senior SAP Functional Consultant, you will ensure that SAP software is optimally deployed to improve and simplify business processes. You will analyze the needs within your specific domain, translate these into functional solutions, and advise on the optimal configuration of SAP modules.

You will combine your substantive SAP expertise with knowledge of Stedin's business processes to optimize systems and implement new functionalities. The key result areas are analysis, design, configuration, implementation, and integration.

You will also have knowledge of data migration, provide user training, and perform operational tasks, such as handling incidents and drafting and maintaining work instructions.

Your role at Stedin:

You will work closely with both technical teams (SAP Technical Consultants) and business stakeholders, including business owners, key users, and end users.

You start with the question behind the user's request: you delve into their work, analyze bottlenecks, and translate these into concrete user stories. Together with the team, you work on continuous improvement using DevOps and SAFe methodologies.

While not all SAP modules are used within Stedin, you generally work with the latest available modules. You are curious, innovative, and actively explore how legacy applications can be migrated to SAP when this offers functional or technical benefits.

As a Senior SAP Functional Consultant, you are versed in multiple disciplines within SAP. You tackle complex issues, such as integrations and architecture, and know how to bring them to a successful conclusion.

You advise middle and senior management on process and system optimization and proactively consult with Product Owners, RTEs, and Solution Architects on improvements and configurations. You know when and how to effectively involve the Tech Lead.

You stay informed about developments within SAP and translate these into Stedin's future. You'll also actively contribute to knowledge sharing: you'll coach junior and mid-level consultants, both individually and in groups.

What do you bring to the table?

  1. At least 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant in a SAFe environment
  2. Knowledge and experience with S/4HANA, particularly within the PM, PS, SD, MM, and Service Management modules (knowledge of EPPM is a strong plus)
  3. Experience implementing SAP Best Practices
  4. Knowledge and experience with Fiori apps and SAP Work Zone
  5. Skills in convincing and involving the business in change processes
  6. Experience with API Management
  7. Candidate must be fluent in English & Dutch preferred
