Job Description:

As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll support the chef in daily prep, help with plating dishes, and assist with overall kitchen operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is looking to gain experience in the horeca sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help prepare ingredients (e.g. chopping, marinating, portioning, etc.)
• Assist with plating and assembling meals during service
• Keep kitchen, storage, and work areas clean and organised
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed
• Label and store food properly, following food safety guidelines
• Inform the manager about low stock and supplies
• Occasionally assist with taking orders or customer communication

What We're Looking For:

• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but not required—training will be provided
• Interest in food and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working during busy hours
• Understanding of basic hygiene and food safety
• Reliable, detail-focused, and a good team player
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Legal right to work in the Netherlands
