Als Data Architect bij Macaw werk je nauw samen met onze klanten om hun dataplatform te ontwerpen, bouwen en onderhouden. Van het verkrijgen van data bij de bron tot het beschikbaar stellen van data voor gebruikers: jij legt de basis die onze engineers vervolgens implementeren. Daarnaast zijn orkestratie, beveiliging en adoptie belangrijke onderdelen van je functie. We werken met Microsoft-technologie, wat betekent dat je zult werken met Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics en Microsoft Fabric.

Wat ga je doen?

In je rol als Data Architect zul jij:

  • Betrouwbare, gebruiksvriendelijke en makkelijk te beheren dataplatformen ontwikkelen en ontwerpen binnen het Microsoft-ecosysteem;
  • Anderen begeleiden en leiden bij het leveren van de door jou ontworpen architectuur;
  • Efficiënte datapijplijnen bouwen met Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks en/of Microsoft Fabric;
  • Goed presterende datamodellen maken, van dimensionaal modelleren tot tweede en derde normaalvorm. Deze modellen worden gemaakt met Python, SQL, PySpark of SparkSQL;
  • Omgevingen van klanten beheren met Azure DevOps. De implementatiescripts en pipelines vallen dus ook onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid.

Wat is jouw profiel?

We zoeken collega's die genieten van uitdagingen en afwisseling. Elk project is uniek. Als architect ben je niet alleen bekend met verschillende architecturen en technieken, maar herken je ook patronen bij diverse klanten, waardoor je kennis en ervaring kunt toepassen van de ene klant naar de andere. Het is belangrijk dat je onze engineers kunt begeleiden bij projecten, maar ook de klant kunt ondersteunen bij de uitvoering ervan. Je bent enthousiast over de nieuwste ontwikkelingen binnen het Microsoft-domein, zoals Fabric en Copilot, en staat te popelen om hiermee te experimenteren.

Daarnaast herken je jezelf in de volgende punten:

  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal en hebt professionele werkvaardigheid in het Engels. Professionele werkvaardigheid in het Duits is een (grote) plus;
  • Je hebt 3+ jaar werkervaring in een vergelijkbare rol;
  • Je hebt ervaring met Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks en/of Azure Synapse Analytics en weet deze technologieën efficiënt in te zetten;
  • Je hebt ervaring met grote datasets en weet oplossingen te ontwikkelen om grote hoeveelheden data zo efficiënt mogelijk te verwerken;
  • Ervaring met Agile/Scrum en kennis van DevOps of JIRA is een pre.
