About The Role

Most projects have an AI-native or AI-enhanced flavor, but you'll also help clients modernize their core tech stack and contribute to internal R&D, tooling, or community initiatives that keep us ahead of the curve.

As a Lead, you'll guide teams, set technical direction, and help shape the engineering culture, establishing yourself as a local thought leader while growing your market impact.

What You'll Do

• Design and build robust, secure, and scalable platforms on Azure (or on-prem), making "production-ready" the default.
• Lead the charge in AI infrastructure: automate deployment, serving, and monitoring of LLMs and multi-agent systems.
• Mentor and guide engineers, championing DevOps culture ("You build it, you run it") and raising the bar for automation and security.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to modernize their tech landscape, optimize costs, and drive innovation.
• When not working on client projects, contribute to internal innovation—think hackathons, open source, or building the next "secret weapon" for our engineering community.

What You Bring

• Cloud Native: Deep expertise in Azure (preferred), but AWS/GCP also valued. You know your way around Terraform, Bicep, Kubernetes, Helm, and service meshes.
• MLOps & Data: Hands-on with MLOps tools (Azure ML, Databricks), vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus), and AI observability (LangSmith, OpenTelemetry).
• Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Mindset: Passion for automation, security, and building platforms that make engineers (and AI models) happy.
• Fluent in English; Strong network and market vision.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a consultant, working directly with clients to deliver value.
• Experience with FinOps, cost optimization, or regulatory compliance in financial services.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud or on-premise security models.
• Contributions and active participation to open source, tech talks, blogs or developer communities.
• A knack for translating complex tech into clear, actionable advice for clients.
• Fluent in Dutch.
