Als Housekeeping Stagiair zorg je ervoor dat de kamers en openbare ruimtes van het hotel voldoen aan de hoge normen van Moxy & Residence Inn. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de General Manager en werkt nauw samen met het uitbestede housekeeping team.

Wat ga je doen tijdens deze stage:

Kwaliteitscontrole van de ruimte:

• Controleer de kamers en openbare ruimtes om er zeker van te zijn dat ze schoon zijn en zijn ingericht volgens de normen van het merk.
• Documenteer en rapporteer eventuele problemen, zoals onderhoudsbehoeften
• Feedback geven aan het housekeeping team over kwaliteitsverbeteringen.

Zorgen voor normen:

• Zorg ervoor dat alle schoonmaak- en kameropstellingen voldoen aan de merkregels van Moxy & Residence Inn.
• Maak eenvoudige hulpmiddelen zoals checklists om het inspectieproces te verbeteren.

Communicatie:

• Fungeren als de belangrijkste schakel tussen de General Manager en het uitbestede huishoudelijke team.
• Help feedback te communiceren, problemen op te lossen en ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen op één lijn zit.

Projecten:

• Werk aan projecten om de housekeeping afdeling te verbeteren, zoals het creëren van betere processen of trainingsmateriaal.
• Help communicatie- en follow-upsystemen effectiever te maken.

Follow-Up:

• Houd de voortgang bij van problemen die u hebt gemeld en zorg ervoor dat ze worden opgelost.
• Houd een register bij van inspecties, rapporten en projectupdates voor de General Manager.

Wie ben je?

• Je spreekt vloeiend Engels, Nederlands is een pré
• Detailgericht: Je merkt kleine details op en zorgt ervoor dat alles goed wordt gedaan.
• Goede communicator: Je kan duidelijk informatie delen met verschillende teams.
• Georganiseerd: Je kan meerdere taken en projecten tegelijk beheren.
• Proactief: Je neemt initiatief om problemen op te lossen en verbeteringen voor te stellen.
• Je bent flexibel en in staat om verschillende diensten te draaien, ook in het weekend en op feestdagen

Unveil the magic of cleanliness and hospitality Come join our team at Moxy and Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts, as a Housekeeping Intern and learn all the secrets of a flawless guest experience.

As a Housekeeping Intern, you will help ensure that the hotel's rooms and public areas meet the high standards of Moxy & Residence Inn. You will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with the outsourced housekeeping team.

What you will do during this internship:

Room Quality Control:

• Check guest rooms and public spaces to ensure they are clean and set up according to the brand's standards.
• Document and report any issues or problems such as maintenance needs or missed cleaning.
• Provide feedback to the housekeeping team on quality improvements.

Ensuring Standards:

• Make sure all cleaning and room setups follow Moxy & Residence Inn brand rules.
• Create simple tools like checklists to improve the inspection process.

Communication:

• Act as the main link between the General Manager and the outsourced housekeeping team.
• Help communicate feedback, resolve issues, and make sure everyone is on the same page.

Projects:

• Work on projects to improve the housekeeping department, such as creating better processes or training materials.
• Help make communication and follow-up systems more effective.

Follow-Up:

• Track progress on issues you have reported and make sure they are resolved.
• Keep records of inspections, reports, and project updates for the General Manager.

Who are you?

• You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
• Detail-Oriented: You notice small details and make sure everything is done properly.
• Good Communicator: You can clearly share information with different teams.
• Organized: You can manage several tasks and projects at once.
• Proactive: You take initiative to fix problems and suggest improvements.
• You are flexible and able to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
