ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Retail Graphic Design Intern at Gisou, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the design and execution of our retail spaces, ensuring an immersive and visually compelling brand experience for our customers. Under the guidance of our experienced design team, you will assist in various aspects of retail design and visual merchandising.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative graphic concepts that align with the Gisou brand identity.

• Assist in creating visual merchandising displays and layouts for retail stores and pop-up locations.

• Contribute to the development of design presentations, mood boards, and sketches to communicate design concepts.

• Support in the selection and sourcing of materials, furniture, fixtures, and props for retail installations.

• Aid in conducting research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences to enhance retail design strategies.

• Assist in on-site visits and installations to ensure design concepts are executed accurately and effectively.

• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques to contribute ideas and insights.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Design, Architecture, Visual Merchandising, or related field.

• Strong passion for design, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous internship or coursework related to retail design is advantageous but not mandatory.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Available to start from Monday February 2nd 2026.

• You must be a student and are looking for a FULL-TIME & ONSITE internship for at least 6 months.

• You must have an Internship contract from your School / University and the internship must be integrated into your program of study.

• Available for 5 days per week, from which 4 days on-site in the Amsterdam office.

WHAT WE OFFER:

• 450EUR of compensation per month

• 1 day of remote working per week.

• This internship is compensted.
