Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef based in Amsterdam. The Sous Chef will support the Chef de cuisine managing kitchen operations, preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, and ensuring food safety compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing kitchen staff, assisting in menu planning and inventory management, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring efficient food preparation processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
  • Background on Greek Cuisine essential
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee kitchen staff
  • Expertise in maintaining food safety standards and cleanliness
  • Proficiency in menu planning and managing kitchen inventory
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Creativity and passion for culinary arts
  • Culinary education or equivalent professional training is a plus
