What is amazing about this job?

You will be part of our Investment Team that contribute to our growth in new business opportunities in The Netherlands. The team is responsible for acquiring new sites/assets, disposition of our projects, equity raising and setting up joint ventures or other types of partnerships.

Responsibilities

As an Investment Intern, your will assist the Investment team with:

  • Underwriting:
    assist the team when
    analyzing new investment and development opportunities by setting up financial models. Partner with commercial and development team members to collect the right input.
  • Transaction activities:
    assist deal teams with conducting property and market due diligence
  • Internal and External Reporting:
    work collaboratively with colleagues to support the preparation of business plans and (quarterly) reporting. Assist on the preparation of investment committee memoranda for both internal as external stakeholders.
  • Overall support:
    Assist in the day-to-day tasks of the team including the creation of presentations, excel spreadsheets, market research, etc. on an ad hoc basis.

Competences / Skills relevant for the role

  • Currently completing or recently completed a degree in
    (Business) Economics
    ,
    Business Administration
    ,
    Real Estate
    , or a related field
  • Strong interest in real estate, investments, and financial analysis;Deal-oriented approach and strong work ethic
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, networking and presentation skills (Dutch and English)
  • Highly proficient in Excel, strong working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Able to cope with time pressure and work in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects
