Backend Developer
to join Inspire, the AI Personalization Engine

What you will do

As a Backend Developer, you'll join Inspire, a high-performing, interdisciplinary team that drives innovation within the Mobile Marketing Cloud. The team consists of 4 developers, 3 data scientists, and a product manager, all working collaboratively to design, build, and scale the AI Personalization Engine. This critical system empowers our clients to execute real-time, hyper-personalized marketing campaigns that deliver measurable impact.

Deeply integrated with our Customer Data Platform (CDP), the AI Personalization Engine enables dynamic, data-driven campaigns and messaging strategies across multiple channels. By helping our clients deliver highly targeted, relevant content to millions of end users, we drive both customer engagement and revenue growth. Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to
enhance and scale the AI Personalization Engine
.

You will, amongst others:

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable, reusable, and scalable backend services.
  • Contribute to our DevOps culture, from CI/CD to infrastructure automation.
  • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
  • Shape the evolution of a system that brings together real-time data, machine learning, and marketing automation.

Additionally, you ideally have

  • 3+ years of experience as a backend developer, with solid expertise in Java. You take pride in designing and evolving internal platforms, improving delivery speed and reliability through better developer experience, performance, and scalability.
  • Hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices. Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure.
  • Genuine interest in AI technologies and excited about their real-world applications — especially in personalization, automation, and behavioral intelligence.
  • Thrived in interdisciplinary teams and are comfortable contributing to onboarding, documentation, and architectural guidance in fast-paced environments.
  • Eagerness to learn and improve continuously. You enjoy collaborating across teams and building shared solutions that reduce redundancy and increase cohesion.
  • We are an international and multicultural company so you must be fluent in English
