You & your role

Design and deliver innovative GenAI solutions within a multidisciplinary team. As a Medior GenAI Engineer, you take end-to-end responsibility for developing, automating and monitoring AI systems that add value for our customers and colleagues. You work directly with internal clients and translate their needs into concrete, scalable solutions. In this role, you combine technical expertise with creativity and collaboration.

Practical examples

• Work directly with internal clients to understand and improve processes and systems.

• Design and build GenAI solutions for up to 9 million Rabobank customers.

• Convert generic components into reusable building blocks for more than 100 tech teams.

• 36 or 40 hours per week.

• You will work on greenfield projects with minimal legacy, within a team of approximately 43,822 Rabobank colleagues worldwide.

• Take ownership of the full AI solution lifecycle: from data ingestion, development, QA, deployment to monitoring high-quality and scalable GenAI solutions.

• Automate processes around development, deployment and monitoring of AI systems to enable faster and more efficient teamwork.

• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists and DevOps teams to translate requirements into concrete solutions and implement them.

As a Medior GenAI Engineer, you are the link between technology and business, continuously improving AI solutions and sharing knowledge within the team.

You & your talent

• Experience in software engineering (minimum 3–6 years).

• Experience with Azure Cloud, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD tools.

• Proficient in Python for scripting, automation and API development.
