Marketing & Activations Intern

We are one of the fastest-growing companies around and are constantly looking to improve our brand language in order to keep proving ourselves as one of the most innovative hotel brands out there. We'll need you to take our brand language to the next level — of course, while keeping the playful, quirky, and having an experimental approach. You will assist the local marketing teams as well as collaborate with various teams such as social media, PR, and content creators in our Amsterdam location. In this role, you'll help support our 7 social media accounts and streamline content across the Netherlands outside of Amsterdam. You will join the team in Amsterdam for a period of 6-7 months, starting as soon as possible.

What You'll Do

• You'll be working with The Netherlands Marketing Team on streamlining content across seven local social media accounts  
• You'll create engaging content ranging from graphics to reels, giving you space to be creative while maintaining brand consistency.
• You'll assist the marketing team in executing events and marketing activations, with regular travel to our Dutch locations.
• You'll work on community management - managing response to comments, questions and identifying opportunities to open conversations with influencers on Instagram.
• You'll work on monthly analytics per channel - ability to measure, analyze and evaluate content performance on social media platforms, to continually improve communications 
• You'll assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, including content scheduling, tracking performance metrics, and reporting  
• You'll stay up-to-date with emerging social media & events trends

Who You Are

• You're currently enrolled in and EU school (you must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship)
• You have BSc in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design or a relevant field 
• You have proven work experience in copywriting, content creation or similar role
• Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus
• You have time-management skills 
• You have excellent writing and editing skills in English, producing concise and grammatically correct copy
• You have an eye for detail  
• You have experience working in an international environment  
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
• You are able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively  
• You are able to see other people's points of view and accept feedback
