About The Role

  • As Global Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead a Growth Team that drives TomTom's talent strategy across buy, build, borrow, and bot principles. This role goes beyond acquisition: it's about career engineering, enabling internal mobility through our flagship product In-Motion, and shaping a dynamic workforce for the future.
  • You will manage a global team across Amsterdam, Lodz, Pune, and Taipei, ensuring scalable, tech-driven processes that deliver exceptional candidate and employee experience. Your remit includes external hiring, internal career moves, and leveraging automation and AI to optimize talent flows. TA consultants will act asstrategic advisors, driving internal growth and skills development while exploring new opportunities for automation and talent intelligence.

What you'll do

  • Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning:

Design and execute a global talent strategy aligned with TomTom's growth ambitions. Operationalize
buy, build, borrow, bot
principles to balance external hiring with internal development.

  • Internal Mobility & Career Growth:

Drive adoption of
In Motion
for internal mobility, ensuring visibility of roles, rotations, and gigs. Partner with Business leaders and HRBPs to promote internal opportunities via Lever. Act as a consultant for internal moves, guiding career conversations and supporting skill development. Monitor metrics like internal hire % and engagement survey results on growth scores to measure impact.

  • Leadership & Team Development:

Lead and inspire a globally dispersed team, fostering a culture of innovation and agility. Equip the team with tools and insights to act as
talent engineers
, not just recruiters.

  • Technology, AI & Automation:

Champion tech-led recruitment processes, ATS integrations, and
AI-driven sourcing
. Explore automation ("bot") to streamline workflows and enhance scalability. Identify new AI opportunities to make TA consultants more consultative and data-driven.

  • Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:

Collaborate with Employer Brand to position TomTom as the emplopyer of choice. The destination to engineer the first realtime map and a destination for growth and impact.

  • Ensure a seamless experience for candidates and employees exploring new paths.

What you'll need

  • 8-10 years in global talent acquisition, with experience in internal mobility and strategic workforce planning.
  • Proven ability to lead transformation toward tech-enabled, data-driven talent practices.
  • Strong understanding of buy, build, borrow, bot frameworks.
  • Proven ability to work with AI tools and emerging technologies, demonstrating digital fluency and a proactive approach to integrating technical innovations into daily practice.
  • Expertise in managing recruitment across multiple geographies and cultures.
