JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll report to the Technical Service Manager and be a core part of our team. Your primary duties will include the assembly and modification of power supplies. You will also be responsible for repairing returned units (RMAs) and performing in-depth root cause analysis to generate failure reports. You'll use your knowledge of electronic circuitry and our products to guide customers on installation and best practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


• Perform assembly and modifications of power supply units to accommodate specification changes.


• Repair defective power supplies returned by customers.


• Conduct root cause analysis by examining user and operational conditions.


• Ensure data integrity by accurately maintaining repair statistics in the ERP system.


• Serve as a technical liaison by communicating with customers to address and resolve potential user-related issues.


• Generate reports for the Product or Quality team on potential epidemic failures or design issues, based on analysis of repair statistics.

QUALIFICATIONS


• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related area of study.


• Good manual and soldering skills.


• Prefer to have 1 year + working experience in power supply or related industry.


• Strong knowledge of electronics components.


• Strong communication skills, able to work in virtual teams.


• Ability to work independently.


• Strong sense of responsibility, respect timelines and schedules.


• Able to take pressure, to achieve target set for the repaired quantities.


• Fluent in English. Second or third European language is a plus.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


• Able to work in The Netherlands.
