We're Hiring Carrier Manager at GBA Logistics
Location: Remote Working from the Netherlands | Full Time
Salary:€30,000 - €35,000

The Role
As our new Carrier Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining and building a strong network of partners in line with our business growth plans. You'll work closely with the Supply chain team which also closely link to Operations and Sales. This would directly contribute to our strategic growth as well as regional development projects
Key Responsibilities for Carrier Manager
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with key FTL carriers across Iberia, Morocco & France
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with key carriers on a regular basis.
- Identify and prospect for new potential partners.
- Organise on-site visits and performance reviews with key partners
- Contract implementation and management with carriers.
- Collaborate with IT and procurement analysts to support operational and sales teams in revenue-related activities.
- Work with other regional Carrier managers to build network to support growth and current customer network
- RFQ Pipeline & Pricing Strategy
- RFQ participation and capacity sourcing for regional tenders.
- Increase pricing accuracy and competitiveness while reducing RFQ turnaround time through data-informed sourcing and scalability.
- Collaborate with internal GBA depots to implement a regional pricing and tariff-based framework.
- Promote and increase participation in GBA's Responsible Supplier Award across European carriers.
- Contribute to Scope 3 emission reductions through partner engagement in intermodal and alternative fuel solutions.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Strategic thinker and relationship builder with strong communication skills
- 3+ years of experience in carrier management, freight procurement or supply chain operations in the EU.
- Strong knowledge of FTL market dynamics and regional logistics ecosystem
- Experience with TMS, SRM and data tools like Power BI are beneficial
- Passion for logistics innovation and collaborative growth.
- Willingness to travel across the region for supplier development and site visits.
