A very good client of mine in Amsterdam are currently looking for a
Product Manager
to lead the development and strategic direction of this
Pricing Engine & Post Processing
capabilities within the Front Office domain. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a global financial institution, offering the opportunity to shape mission-critical systems that support trading, risk, and operations across multiple asset classes.
Knowledge of vendor systems like Murex, Summit, Calypso, Sophis or similar would be interesting. Alternatively in house system build would also be appealing.
You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing a team of Product Owners, and collaborating with cross-functional squads to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. This role requires a strong blend of product leadership, financial markets expertise, and technical fluency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from vision and roadmap to delivery and continuous improvement.
- Lead a team of Product Owners, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and delivery across multiple agile squads.
- Collaborate with engineering and quant teams to enhance pricing algorithms and post-trade workflows.
- Partner with data product teams to ensure seamless integration of pricing and data solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Risk, Operations, and Technology to understand needs and drive value.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, risk, and control standards.
- Drive standardization, scalability, and innovation across the product suite.
- Monitor performance metrics and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing complex products in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Strong understanding of Financial Markets, pricing models, and regulatory considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and product delivery frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute at pace in a dynamic environment.
- Technical fluency and the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Product Manager or scaled Product Owner role.
- Experience working closely with technology and quantitative teams.
- Track record of delivering complex, high-impact initiatives in Financial Markets.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
