Breda, Noord-Brabant, Nederland Lamb Weston EMEA Voltijd

As Manager Regulatory Affairs and Trade Compliance, you'll lead two critical functions that ensure Lamb Weston's products and operations meet the highest standards of safety, legality, and integrity. You'll manage a team of specialists across Regulatory Affairs and Trade Compliance, providing direction, expertise, and strategic insight to keep our business compliant, competitive, and ready for growth across EMEA.

This is a key leadership role that combines deep regulatory knowledge with trade expertise — ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, international environment.

Your Responsibilities

Regulatory Affairs

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, nutrition, and health regulations for all products across EMEA markets.
  • Advise on product labelling, claims, and market entry strategies to support compliant and successful launches.
  • Maintain and apply up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and risks.
  • Represent Lamb Weston in discussions with regulatory authorities and industry bodies.
  • Oversee the accuracy of regulatory documentation, labelling, and product declarations.
  • Train internal teams to increase regulatory awareness and compliance readiness.

Trade Compliance

  • Develop and manage trade compliance programs covering customs laws, import/export regulations, and trade standards.
  • Ensure compliance in all import/export documentation, tariff classifications, and origin determinations.
  • Lead AEO certification and manage customs licenses and trade agreements.
  • Conduct internal audits, identify compliance risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and strengthen compliance systems.

Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of 5 specialists (3 in Trade Compliance, 2 in Regulatory Affairs).
  • Foster a high-performance, integrity-driven culture focused on excellence in compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and R&D.
  • Manage budgets for compliance programs and training initiatives.

About You

You're an experienced compliance professional who combines technical expertise with strong leadership. You understand both the regulatory frameworks behind food production and the complexities of international trade — and you can translate that knowledge into clear strategies that protect and enable the business.

What you bring:

  • Master's degree in Food Science, Regulatory Sciences, International Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in regulatory or trade compliance roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages such as German or French are a plus).
  • Business acumen, cultural awareness, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

At Lamb Weston, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact on a global scale — ensuring compliance, shaping processes, and enabling smooth trade across more than 90 markets. You'll join a team that values collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.

We offer you a challenging job in a dynamic and growing organization in the food industry. We challenge you to grow in the same way as our company, where development is key. We thrive in a culture defined by our values: Integrity, Teamwork, Inclusion, Drive for Results and Empowerment. As we say at Lamb Weston EMEA, when we see a potato, we see opportunities. What opportunities do you see?
