The Department & Team

The Technical Development team develops and delivers both innovative and sustainable products for Tommy Hilfiger. Responsible for the end-to-end technical development of the product, from initial concept through to physical garments, pioneering high quality & product excellence, as well as delivering on company & divisional KPI's.

Closely partnering with several stakeholders, from PD (Product Development), design & merchandising, through to global teams this role plays an intricate part in delivering the Tommy Hilfiger brand DNA.

The Position

Skilled & Knowledgeable within technical development of apparel. Responsible for supporting the creation and maintenance of our block libraries and driving all new seasonal silhouettes developments across global supply base.

Leads technical development and fit excellence across multiple product areas. Oversees complex development challenges, drives process optimization projects, and mentors junior team members. Partners cross-functionally to ensure brand standards, quality, and innovation are achieved

Collaborate closely with design, Merchandise, and product development to interpret sketches, create collections, understand market needs and achieve shared deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

• Lead the technical development process across assigned product areas, ensuring quality, fit, and consistency.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in fit, construction, and digital workflows.
• Deliver against technical KPIs such as fit improvement, grading, overdevelopment, and quality enhancement.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness in PLM and maintain adherence to the critical path.
• Partner cross-functionally on product, process, and business improvement projects.
• Mentor and support junior team members to build technical capability.
• Carry out ad hoc tasks such as analysis, meeting preparation, and reporting as required.

The Ideal Candidate

• 4 -6 years of experience in technical development within apparel.
• Degree in fashion, garment technology, pattern cutting, or related field.
• Strong technical understanding of pattern cutting, fit, and garment construction.
• Confident using PLM and other relevant software (e.g. Gerber or equivalent).
• Collaborative and inclusive communicator, able to work effectively across teams.
• Solves complex problems independently and helps define best practices and standards.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Self-driven, pragmatic, and commercially aware.
• Demonstrates PVH values: individuality, passion, accountability, partnership, and integrity.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
