AREA/DISTRICT MANAGER

Location:
Rotterdam (regular travel across the Netherlands and occasional visits to Antwerp HQ)

Contract:
Full-time (38 hours/week)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As Area Manager you will oversee assigned shops and lead shop managers and teams to deliver outstanding results and customer experiences.

You will:

· Own day-to-day retail operations across assigned shops and deliver sales and profitability targets.

· Coach, develop and performance-manage shop managers and teams; build capable, motivated teams.

· Plan assortments, make orders from warehouse and ensure shops are adequately supplied and merchandised to T2 guidelines.

· Drive operational excellence (inventory, cash handling, shrink, health & safety, opening/closing routines).

· Make daily and weekly reports in Excel to monitor sales and costs.

· Participate in preparing budgets for assigned shops.

· Manage budgets, analyse KPIs, forecast, and implement action plans at shop and assigned area level.

· Review shops work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels in all shops.

· Lead hiring for your area together with HR; ensure onboarding, training and withholding.

· Support new shop openings and refits; ensure timelines and standards are met.

· Uphold brand standards, sustainability principles and an inclusive, customer-first culture.

· Travel frequently across the Netherlands; be present in shops during peak times and events.

You are a suitable candidate if you have:

· years managerial work experience in the retail operations (apparel or footwear).

· A Bachelor or vocational degree in Business-related field.

· Highly organised, hands-on and calm under pressure; able to prioritise and follow through.

· Analytical, result-oriented with excellent numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills.

· Strong interest in fashion trends.

· Full driving licence and ability to travel across the Netherlands.

· Languages: Excellent Dutch and English.
