About this vacancy

As Energy Transition Advisor, you will work in a multidisciplinary team that includes landscape designers, spatial economists, participation advisors, and project managers. Together, you are committed to integrated projects that make the Netherlands future-proof: increasing housing availability, improving infrastructure, and realizing the energy transition.

We are looking for a substantive sparring partner with experience in the energy transition, who can identify sustainable opportunities and transform them into tangible results.

Your role

In this position, you will work on strategic advice and technical elaborations for sustainable energy systems in public spaces, industrial areas, and within the industry. Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing heat visions, conducting energy scans, and designing new energy systems.
  • Providing insights into the supply and demand regarding energy needs (heat and electricity) for residential areas or business parks.
  • Exploring innovative solutions, such as solar carports or other sustainable energy sources.
  • Sketching designs for energy systems and translating analyses into concrete improvement and design proposals.
  • Collaborating integrally with various disciplines to clarify both the energy and financial feasibility of systems.

In short, you are an entrepreneurial advisor with an eye for both content and process, eager to contribute to the sustainable future of the Netherlands.

What we expect from you
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in the energy transition.
  • Good knowledge of the technical aspects of sustainable energy systems.
  • Analytical skills to develop sustainable energy systems at a high level.
  • Experience with sketching designs for energy systems (or willingness to learn).
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to build sustainable customer relationships.
