Your role in the journey
As Assistant Meeting & Events Manager, you'll support both the Sales and Organizing Managers in overseeing the full event cycle — from initial inquiry to final execution.
You'll help lead a passionate team, coordinate with internal departments and ensure every detail is handled with precision and care.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and execution of event strategies
- Assisting with site inspections and client communications
- Coordinating proposals, contracts, and event documentation
- Managing group requests and distributing tasks within the team
- Monitoring budgets, timelines, and operational flow
- Ensuring smooth collaboration between departments
- Analyzing conversion rates and lost business to improve performance
- Acting as a point of contact for guests, clients and partners
- Support the development of both new and existing employees.
- Conduct performance reviews
- Reporting to the Meeting & Events Manager
What you'll bring
- At least 2 years of experience in a Meeting & Events role, preferably in a luxury hotel
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- A proactive, commercial mindset and eye for detail
- Leadership potential and the ability to motivate a team
- A calm and solution-oriented approach under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
- Passion for hospitality and delivering five-star service
