Business Information Analyst

Purpose

As a Business Information Analyst, you'll bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions in a complex, high-tech environment. You'll translate strategic and operational information needs into clear requirements and support solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Model business processes and information flows.
  • Support Product Owners and Agile teams within Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
  • Participate in refinement sessions and stakeholder workshops.
  • Assist with testing and validating delivered functionality.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years as a Business or Information Analyst in a complex organization.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum; knowledge of SAFe is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, and modeling methods (BPMN, UML).
  • Experience in international, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Background in high-tech or manufacturing preferred.
  • Bonus: UX design experience.
  • Bonus: Data analysis experience in SAP HANA Cloud or Azure.
