About Hotel Vall Amagada del Molí

Hotel Vall Amagada del Molí is a 15-room boutique hotel in the beautiful Llémena Valley, near Girona. Hidden between hills and forest trails, it's being transformed into a refined yet adventurous hideaway for travelers who love nature, design, and authenticity. The opening is planned for the 9th of April 2026.

Founded by two Dutch hoteliers, both alumni of Hotelschool The Hague, Vall Amagada is being built on the values of genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and a love for the outdoors.

The Role

Join us during one of the most exciting phases of any hotel, the pre-opening. You'll be part of the small founding team, helping turn a construction site into a living, breathing hotel. One week you might be unboxing new design pieces or testing layouts in the rooms; the next you'll help plan our first soft-opening stays or shape how future guests will experience their arrival.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in shaping the atmosphere of the hotel, from interior details to the guest journey.
  • Assist in setting up rooms and common spaces, preparing the property for its first guests.
  • Help create checklists, standards, and daily rituals that will define the Vall Amagada experience.
  • Support with pre-opening activities such as inventory setup, delivery coordination, and photo preparation.
  • Assist in setting up the restaurant service and front office operations, helping define workflows, service standards, and guest touchpoints.
  • Brainstorm ideas for guest experiences: welcome rituals, local maps, cycling routes, and hidden gems.
  • Join creative sessions on concept, sustainability, and service flow.
  • Participate in test stays and pre-opening events to refine every detail before launch.

Who You Are

  • A hospitality or tourism student who loves variety and hands-on learning.
  • Enthusiastic, curious, and ready to get involved in every aspect of hotel life.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative mind and a passion for people and design.
  • Speaks English fluently (Spanish and/or Catalan is a plus).

  • How to bring a boutique hotel concept to life, from vision to first guest.
  • The creative and operational side of pre-opening management.
  • Project coordination, supplier communication, and design implementation.
  • How to think like an entrepreneur in hospitality.
