Our client is a multidisciplinary consulting and engineering firm. They provide services in numerous fields including industry, food & beverage, oil & gas, infrastructure, energy & utilities, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, and property.

Our client is a leading engineering partner for industrial clients and European Transmission System Operators (TSOs), tackling complex challenges in the high-voltage domain. As a Secondary Engineer, you'll contribute to multidisciplinary projects, such as the construction, expansion, and modernization of high-voltage substations. You'll design, implement, and optimize secondary systems, focusing on control, auxiliary power, and protection installations, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

Your role includes:

  • Translating client requirements into reliable, secure technical designs.
  • Performing calculations and technical analyses.
  • Coordinating testing and validation activities within set standards and specifications.
  • Providing expert advice on secondary system designs.
  • Documenting and reporting project progress.
  • Collaboration is key: you'll work closely with specialists across disciplines to deliver integrated, multidimensional designs. To thrive in this role, you bring this:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • Relevant experience in high-voltage engineering.
  • Familiarity with tools like PLS CADD, ELCAD, and BIM.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Dutch or willingness to learn it promptly.
