Freelance CX/ UX Designer

We're looking for an experienced Freelance CX/UX Designer to support our Hypersolid project team during the Discovery and Define phases of a large-scale web consolidation and redesign initiative.

You'll collaborate closely with our Project Manager, Strategy, Design, and Tech teams to deliver actionable insights, synthesize stakeholder input, and help shape the user experience foundations for the next phase of design and build.

What you'll do

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews alongside the core CX/UX team to identify key needs, challenges, and success criteria.
  • Support the creation of deliverables including stakeholder synthesis reports, current-state IA documentation, and journey maps.
  • Execute website audits (UX, content, conversion, and design system) and prepare audit summaries and component inventories.
  • Contribute to the definition of future-state IA, governance frameworks, and platform recommendations.
  • Support alignment sessions across UX, content, and technology workstreams.
  • Collaborate on high-fidelity mockups and page templates in Figma.
  • Help finalize key deliverables such as sitemap, governance framework, platform recommendations, and prioritized implementation plan.

What we need

  • Proven experience as a CX/UX Designer, Researcher, or Strategist in digital or platform redesign projects.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder facilitation, user research, and synthesis.
  • Hands-on ability with Figma, Miro, and related UX tools.
  • Understanding of information architecture, governance frameworks, and design systems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with design, content, and tech teams.
  • Strong communication skills and a structured approach to documentation.

Duration: Approx. 6–8 weeks (November–December 2025)

Start date: Early November 2025 (expected kickoff November 3)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (CET / EST overlap preferred)
