As the Marketing Manager – Nordic Region, you will lead and execute all marketing activities across the Nordic markets, ensuring that Changan's brand, product lineup, and campaigns are effectively localized for each country. This role combines strategic marketing leadership with strong product awareness, ensuring that brand storytelling, product positioning, and go-to-market execution are fully aligned with the expectations of Nordic consumers—particularly within the fast-growing EV segment.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Nordic markets in line with European and global brand objectives.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (digital, social media, CRM, events, PR, retail) to build awareness and generate leads.
  • Collaborate closely with dealer partners to activate local retail marketing and ensure consistent brand experience at the point of sale.
  • Manage local agencies and suppliers for media planning, creative content, and event delivery.
  • Ensure brand consistency and storytelling aligned with Changan's global identity.

Product Marketing & Localization

  • Act as the bridge between the marketing and product planning teams, ensuring that product positioning reflects market needs and customer expectations.
  • Support new product launches, including pricing communication, feature highlights, and campaign messaging.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and gather market insights to inform product strategy and positioning.
  • Provide feedback to the European product planning team on market-specific feature requests and product adaptation needs.
  • Assist in developing product marketing materials, training content, and launch toolkits for dealer and media use.

Market Insights & Reporting

  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and EV adoption patterns across the Nordic region.
  • Monitor campaign performance and lead-generation KPIs, reporting on marketing ROI and product perception.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to adjust strategies based on performance and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within the automotive, mobility, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the Nordic automotive and media landscape — experience in EV markets is a plus.
  • Experience in product marketing or product launch management within an international context.
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing, media planning, and brand activation.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish is a strong advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
