Are you a driven Spatial Planning Advisor with a passion for urban development and area management? Do you enjoy working on challenging projects in both the public and private sectors? At TMC, you have the unique opportunity to leverage your talents as an expert within our transparent model, working at various consultancy and engineering firms, or within government organizations. As a Spatial Planning Advisor at TMC, you work on challenging and complex spatial planning issues. You provide strategic advice on the design of the physical living environment and are involved in the development of spatial plans. You do this in collaboration with various stakeholders, including municipalities, provinces, engineering firms, and project developers. You work on projects such as: - The development and restructuring of urban areas. - Drafting zoning plans and spatial substantiations. - Advising on sustainable area development and infrastructure projects. - Conducting feasibility studies and environmental analyses. - Guiding procedures related to the Environmental Act. With your expertise, you contribute to the livability, sustainability, and future-proofing of cities and towns in the Netherlands.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed advisor who is naturally proactive and takes responsibility within projects. You have a good understanding of administrative relationships and can effortlessly navigate between different stakeholders. Additionally, you bring the following:

• A completed education in Spatial Planning or Built Environment.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience in spatial planning, preferably gained at a consultancy firm, engineering firm, or (semi-)government institution.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You know how to convey complex information clearly and understandably to various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations such as the Environment and Planning Act and the Spatial Planning Decree (BRO).
• Experience with planning processes, zoning plans, and assessing spatial plans.
• An analytical and solution-oriented mindset with attention to both detail and the bigger picture.
• Flexibility and mobility; you are willing to work at various locations in the southern Netherlands.
