This role combines hands-on design work with leadership responsibility, guiding projects from concept through detailed design and ensuring the creative vision is fully realized in execution.

Your Profile

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Interior Architecture or Architecture.
  • Proven background in high-end hospitality and residential projects.
  • Experience overseeing project design development, coordinating teams, and supervising drawing and Design outputs.

Design & Technical Skills

  • Strong interior design sensibility, able to interpret and evolve concept designs into coherent spatial and material solutions.
  • Ability to lead the preparation of design and technical packages, ensuring consistency and design integrity across all deliverables.
  • Confident in producing and reviewing drawings, but with a design-forward approach, not merely drafting.
  • Solid understanding of bespoke joinery, FF&E integration, millwork, and how technical decisions support the overall design narrative.

Team Supervision & Project Coordination

  • Able to supervise and mentor the design and CAD team, reviewing work, guiding decisions, and ensuring alignment with FG stijl's design standards.
  • Comfortable coordinating with internal teams, external consultants, and suppliers.
  • Able to manage resources, schedules, and priorities across multiple project phases.
  • Capable of representing the studio in client and contractor meetings, clearly communicating design intent and technical requirements.

  • AutoCAD: High proficiency (expert-level preferred)
  • Adobe Photoshop: Good level
  • MS Office: Good level
  • Sketchup: High proficiency (expert-level preferred)
  • Familiarity with additional 3Ds max is an asset.

  • Strong communicator with leadership confidence and sensitivity to design quality.
  • Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.
  • Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus.

  • Degree or diploma (or foreign equivalent) in Interior Architecture or Architecture.
