Senior EHS Officer

  • Location: Eindhoven
  • Salary: € €5.400
  • Holidays: 40 days/ year

We are seeking an experienced
Senior EHS Officer
to bring structure, leadership, and ambition to our growing safety culture. This is a hands-on and highly impactful position where your expertise will help transform our organization from reactive safety management to proactive prevention — with the ultimate goal of achieving zero incidents through awareness, ownership, and standardization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies and procedures
  • Act as the internal and external point of contact for all EHS-related matters
  • Coordinate and continuously improve the Risk Assessment & Evaluation (RI&E)
  • Ensure a structured, compliant, and consistent way of working

Risk & Incident Management

  • Lead risk assessments and ensure effective control implementation
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures
  • Coach and empower managers to take ownership of safety within their teams

Training & Culture Development

  • Deliver EHS training sessions and toolbox talks across multiple sites
  • Strengthen the overall safety culture by promoting awareness and accountability

Operations & Emergency Preparedness

  • Participate in daily floor meetings and safety walk-throughs
  • Coordinate and maintain readiness of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
  • Translate safety objectives into practical, actionable measures on the production floor

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and support EHS improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
  • Drive the transition toward a standardized, prevention-focused safety culture

Qualifications & Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or a related technical field
  • MVK certification required; HVK-level qualification preferred
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or technical environments
