About the Role

Our client, a global provider of inspection, certification, and assurance services, is hiring a
General Manager for the Netherlands
. This position offers a defined succession path, you will initially support the Business Director for Belgium and the Netherlands (BeNe), with the opportunity to move into the General Manager Netherlands role within 12 months, and ultimately the Business Director BeNe position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and restructure the management team to improve performance and engagement.
  • Partner with the Business Director (BeNe) on strategic and financial management, including full P&L responsibility.
  • Oversee inspection and certification service delivery operations.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies for the Netherlands market.
  • Drive continuous improvement, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the business with key clients and stakeholders across the TIC sector.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience within the
    TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry
    or a related field.
  • Strong background in
    inspection and certification
    (not testing).
  • Proven experience leading managers and restructuring teams.
  • Commercial and financial management experience (P&L).
  • Strategic and operational execution skills.
  • Dutch speaker
    with strong communication and influencing abilities.
  • Able to work in a hybrid setup
