Advise as a Global Privacy Officer within the Data Protection Specialists (DPS) team on privacy issues and ensure that Rabobank respects privacy in every decision worldwide. You work together with colleagues to ensure that personal data is handled carefully and with integrity. In this role, you help strengthen trust in our organisation and protect the rights and freedoms of individuals.

• You advise a business owner when designing a process, ensuring processing is lawful and risks to individuals are mitigated.

• You develop and deliver  a privacy training to a team in the business, leveraging practical examples from prior interactions.

• You investigate a customer complaint and discuss your findings with the responsible business owner.

• Providing practical advice on data processing on behalf of the GDPO, focusing on the rights and freedoms of data subjects.

• Acting as a trusted contact point for individuals exercising their privacy rights and for the Dutch Data Protection Authority on privacy matters.

• Informing and advising colleagues on data protection, and actively maintaining a network to promote a culture of respect for privacy and human dignity.

As a Global Privacy Officer, you help raise privacy awareness and create a safe, respectful working environment within Rabobank.

The 12 people in DPS advise the organisation on privacy issues, support data subjects as an escalation point, and cooperate with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

• BSc or MSc degree in a relevant field

• At least 10 years (with BSc) or 5 years (with MSc) of relevant work experience, for example in Information Security, Compliance, Risk, or Audit

• You are passionate about Data Protection. Proven knowledge, for instance through a CIPP/E certification, is a plus.
