We are looking for two Secondary School Dutch Language Acquisition teachers for our MYP Programme. One starting in December 2025 on our South East Campus and one starting in January 2026 on our South Campus.

One of our colleagues is going off on parental leave and another one is looking for pastures new. We are looking for enthusiastic, collaborative, and knowledgeable colleagues to join our team. Ideally, the candidate has an understanding of the IB, is flexible, resilient, and open to new ideas.

You would be joining a growing school, with over 2300 students spread across 2 beautiful campuses.

  • Our campus in the South of Amsterdam opened in January 2022
  • Our evennewer campus in the South East of Amsterdam, opened in August 2023

Pay scale between LB (min. €3463,- max. €5277,- full-time per month, before tax) or higher scale, depending on experience.

Job size: Both0,6 fte (full-time equivalent) 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday working days)

Start date: December 2025 and January 2026

***a DUO-validated (Dutch Ministry of Education) teaching degree for secondary school education is required to teach in the Netherlands*** Please go to the following link for the certification and validation request.

The AICS is a Dutch International Primary and Secondary School in the Netherlands. We are an IB World School school that offers PYP, MYP, DP, and CP. Together with a number of other Amsterdam-based Dutch schools we form 'Esprit Scholen'.
