About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled
Mendix Advanced Developer
to lead end-to-end application development, ensuring that all deliverables align with architectural blueprints and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Mendix tools and frameworks, coupled with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide junior and rapid developers.

As a Mendix Advanced Developer, you will collaborate closely with Mendix Experts and cross-functional teams to translate high-level designs into actionable solutions. You will play a critical role in maintaining code quality, ensuring scalability, and driving the successful delivery of innovative applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Mendix applications, ensuring alignment with architecture and design standards.
  • Translate architectural and business requirements into clear, executable development tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Mendix platform.
  • Mentor and support other developers (Advanced and Rapid levels) to ensure consistent code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with Mendix Experts, architects, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
  • Maintain code integrity, ensure optimal performance, and implement scalable solutions.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in Mendix application development processes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8–10 years of overall IT experience
    , with strong expertise in
    Mendix application development
    .
  • Proven experience working with
    Mendix Advanced Developer
    certification (or equivalent skill level).
  • In-depth knowledge of
    Mendix tools, frameworks, and best practices
    .
  • Strong experience in
    application design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
    .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to translate technical designs into efficient and maintainable Mendix applications.
  • Strong understanding of
    Agile methodologies
    and collaborative development environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience integrating Mendix with enterprise systems (APIs, databases, cloud services).
  • Familiarity with
    DevOps
    ,
    CI/CD pipelines
    , and
    cloud deployment models
    .
  • Exposure to
    Mendix Atlas UI
    ,
    Java actions
    , and
    custom widget development
    .
  • Knowledge of
    data modeling, microflows, and domain-driven design principles
    .
