We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and guest services team. As the face of the hotel, you will ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and leaves with a lasting positive impression.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing and inspiring the front office team;
- Ensuring seamless check-in, check-out, and guest service procedures;
- Delivering a consistently high level of guest satisfaction and handling complaints with professionalism;
- Scheduling shifts, supervising daily operations, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth communication;
- Training and developing team members to uphold our service standards;
- Monitoring front office budgets, handling invoicing, and ensuring accurate administration;
- Managing room availability and working with the reservations team to maximize occupancy and revenue;
- Implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency, service, and guest experience.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or in a senior front desk role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel;
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, guest-first mentality;
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities;
- Proficient with PMS systems (knowledge of MEWS is a plus);
- Fluent in English (Dutch and other languages are a plus);
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays;
- Living in or near Amsterdam.
