About the job:
Based in The Hague, Netherlands you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO's Digital Endeavour. You will join The Air Command and Control (AirC2) Business Area. AirC2 ensures the harmonised planning, implementation, deployment, evolution and support of the Air Command and Control (AirC2) and Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) programmes as well as other assigned programmes. AirC2 is the procurement and implementation body of the NCI Agency, charged with the effective planning, execution, delivery into service, evolution and through-life logistic support of NATO's and assigned national AirC2 and BMD systems.
We are now recruiting for a Senior Test Manager to join The Business Assurance Functional Group ensures that the AirC2 centre delivers high-quality products and services to its customers and stakeholders.
The Senior Test Manager is responsible for the overall test strategy and test approach for the projects they are assigned to. In addition they are responsible for leading the testing team and ensuring the successful execution of all testing activities in accordance with the stated functional and non-functional requirements taking into account the right level of risk.
They not only focus on project test strategies, finding and resolving defects, but also shape the testing process and ensure that testing efforts align with overall business objectives. Their leadership, and technical expertise contribute to delivering software that meets high standards of functionality, performance, and user experience. You will undertake the likes of the following duties:

Methods and Tools
Portfolio, Programme and Project Support
Acceptance Testing
Testing

About you
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
A Master's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience. Or a Bachelor's degree with 10 years post related experience.
Recent experience in the planning and execution of verification and validation activities in software intensive projects
Recent experience with functional, non-functional and interoperability testing of systems and products on Windows based environments
Knowledge of, and practical experience in, modern testing and test management methods and paradigms.
General up-to-date knowledge of computer system architectures, Solaris/Unix/Linux operating systems, client/server, LAN/WAN and network concepts
Understanding of Air Command and Control domain associated with Air planning operation or Tactical Data Link/ Sensor / Track
Training/Certifications:
Professional certification in the area of Validation and Verification
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
