Customs Broker – Rotterdam / Customs Process Specialist

We're looking for a
Customs Broker (Rotterdam)
– someone passionate about international trade, accuracy, and smooth customs processes.

About the role

As a
Customs Broker
, you'll coordinate and manage the entire customs process – from order intake and documentation to goods release and clearance.

You'll work within an experienced and supportive team, receiving extensive training in customs legislation and international trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle import, export, and transit declarations.
  • Review certificates, solve customs-related incidents, and offer proactive solutions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial processing of customs activities.
  • Prepare reports for management, customers, and compliance teams.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate actively in customs improvement projects.

What you bring

  • Experience in customs operations (certification is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of local customs authorities and systems is a plus.
  • Strong administrative and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent in Dutch; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Team-oriented and deadline-driven.
