Marketing Procurement Manager

Job Purpose:

A leading global organization in the FMCG sector is urgently seeking a Marketing Procurement Manager to oversee the Sponsorship & Activation category. With a global spend of approximately €480 million, this role is critical in driving marketing efficiency, optimizing sponsorship portfolios, and embedding data-driven decision-making across international markets.

Main Tasks:

  • Manage the Sponsorship & Activation Procurement category globally
  • Own and roll out valuation tooling for Sponsorship & Events
  • Ensure alignment with Operating Companies and provide strong business partnering
  • Support local sponsorship portfolio optimization using data-based insights
  • Foster internal community management and promote Learn-Share-Reapply behavior
  • Drive capability building through toolkit development and deployment
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Effective deployment of sponsorship valuation tools
  • Alignment and productivity improvements across OpCos
  • Increased efficiency in sponsorship portfolio management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and capability development

Ideal Background:

Education & Experience:

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in commercial procurement, ideally in Sponsorships & Events
  • Experience in a complex international (FMCG) environment
  • Fluent in English
