The Role

We are seeking a forward-thinking
IT Systems & Cloud Administrator
who thrives on balancing usability with security, much like the precise engineering behind modern wind turbines. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT systems and cloud environments. Your mission is to ensure that our IT infrastructure supports the fast-moving needs of our teams while maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and operational excellence.

You will have the freedom to innovate, think outside the box, and implement cutting-edge technologies that mirror the dynamic and forward-looking nature of the energy market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services (Azure).
• Create, plan, run, and deliver critical IT and cybersecurity projects, acting as the driving wind that powers FCWS's digital transformation.
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place while maintaining usability for end users.
• Support our user base with day-to-day issues and questions, providing a steady breeze of guidance and ensuring minimal operational disruption.
• Proactively identify and resolve IT challenges, keeping ahead of potential risks and trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored IT solutions.
• Drive automation and optimization across IT processes and systems.
• Implement IT policies and best practices, supporting FCWS's journey toward a more professional and scalable IT framework.
• Evaluate and test new technologies that can bring value and innovation to the company.
• Support the integration of IT systems with wind-energy-specific operational platforms and tools.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Systems or Cloud Administrator, ideally within energy, renewables, or a dynamic/transitioning business environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and modern IT governance frameworks (ISO27001, NIS-2).
• Focus on VPN namely, OpenVPN skills and SSL Certificates.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, capable of "thinking like the wind" — agile, forward-moving, and adaptable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive and innovative approach.
