SIN. is voor één van haar vaste opdrachtgevers exclusief op zoek naar ervaren category buyers met kennis van (casco)constructiebouw (aluminium/staal), yacht equipment, outfitting of scheepsbouw.

Onze klant

Deze organisatie is een zeer toonaangevende en unieke speler dat luxe en high end jachten bouwt van 60 tot meer dan 100 meter. In 1849 is onze klant opgericht om de export van Nederlandse jachten te promoten en is inmiddels een uitgegroeid tot een absolute marktleider met internationale allure. Met ruim 300 medewerkers worden er met een familie gevoel custom-build super jachten gebouwd, wat de kwaliteit van de jachten hoog houdt. Om altijd de beste kwaliteit te kunnen garanderen aan diverse (internationale) klanten, is toewijding, doorzettingsvermogen en teamwork van cruciaal belang.

De functie

Als category buyer ben je verantwoordelijk voor strategisch leverancier management en het opmaken van lange termijn strategieplannen voor jouw toegewezen productgroep.Uiteraard ligt dit in lijn met de gedefinieerde inkoopstrategie, tegen de meest optimale kosten en binnen specificaties en planning. Je zorgt voor de beste deals door nauw samen te werken met technische specialisten bij het selecteren, contracteren en ontwikkelen van leveranciers. Jouw kennis van (casco)constructiebouw (aluminium/staal), yacht equipment, outfitting of scheepsbouw is hierbij essentieel. Samen met de category buyers maak je deel uit van het inkoop team bestaande uit project buyers en operationeel buyers in totaal met 28 collega's. Je rapporteert als category buyer aan de procurement manager waarbij de functie zowel in Kaag als Amsterdam bekleedt kan worden.

  • Het contracteren van leveranciers en het bewaken van de algehele prestaties van de leveranciers
  • Sourcen naar leveranciers, kostprijs analyses maken en het afsluiten van framework agreements
  • Pro actief voorkomen van potentiële leveringsproblemen en zoeken naar alternatieve leveranciers om a.
  • Opstellen inkoop strategieën voor jouw toegewezen categorieën
  • Marktonderzoek uitvoeren om beleid en strategie op product niveau vorm te geven
  • Bezoeken en mede-auditen van leveranciers

Gevraagde achtergrond

  • Hbo werk-en denkniveau aanvullend met inkoop certificaten
  • Diverse jaren ervaring opgedaan op het gebied van category management en/of strategische inkoop
  • Bij voorkeur ervaring opgedaan in technisch complexe organisaties en/of projectgestuurde omgeving en kennis van (casco)constructiebouw (aluminium/staal), yacht equipment, outfitting of scheepsbouw
  • Ruime ervaring met het opstellen van inkoop strategieën en sourcen naar leveranciers
  • Je bent een echte relatiebeheerder en bent uitstekend in staat om te pionieren binnen een dynamische omgeving
  • Kennis van MS Office pakketten, ERP-/Inkoopsystemen Navison (of soortgelijk)
  • Uitstekende beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal
