Join us in Amsterdam to optimize meter data processes for Dutch commodity markets. You'll mature Middle Office data validation to ensure consistent PnL, invoicing, and imbalance reconciliations—and serve as Axpo's reference person for Dutch market regulations.

What you will do:

  • Collaboration with Middle Office, local Front Office (support), the Invoicing and Balancing team in the efficient detection, investigation and resolution of data issues. Validation of received data with compliance to the company policies. Ensure availability and correctness of required data for invoicing (in cooperation with Head-quarter IT and Headquarter Middle Office and Back Office) and Balancing purposes.
  • Enhance checks and processes related to timeliness and quality of market information. Track projects, timelines, and activities to address issues, propose solutions and implement actions.
  • Collaboration with local Front Office (support), to setup and mature the internal processes within the landscape of Axpo. Coordinate and supervise the drafting of technical and functional requirements. Manage resources and monitor performance. Ensure compliance with Company's quality standards. Ensure an advisory role for commercial initiatives insofar as they require meter data developments.
  • Oversee the collaboration with our external data providers to ensure timely, complete and accurate delivery of the data in accordance with the market rules of the different commodities. Be the reference person regarding Dutch market rules for such projects.

What you bring & who you are:

  • Degree in engineering, business, physics, mathematics—or equivalent experience; at least 3–5 years in a Dutch supplier environment (DSO/TSO operations)
  • Strong grasp of Dutch regulatory frameworks and meter/market data validation; track market developments and translate rules into clear specs and business cases
  • Analytical, structured, and goal-oriented; strong communicator and team player with solid organizational and resource management skills
  • Self-driven, accountable, and appropriately assertive; credible collaborator across teams and stakeholders
  • Leadership mindset: role-model behavior, resilience in challenging times, fosters trust, feedback, learning, and change
  • Personal strengths: can-do, entrepreneurial and outcome-focused; identify root causes, propose better ways of working, and drive improvements
  • Languages: fluent Dutch and English, spoken and written
  • Ideally: experience coordinating external data providers and maturing internal processes
  • Experience with AI, programming languages, working on large data sources and agile IT project management is a significant plus, in particular in combination with knowledge of energy sector applications
