, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of institutional clients (buy side) across that area primarily. In this role, you will keep a close eye on market developments, sharing valuable trading insights and ideas with your colleagues to drive success. With your solid experience within the UK market, you'll facilitate transactions between clients while mentoring and coaching less experienced team members. Collaboration and teamwork will be at the heart of your work, along with the ability to take individual ownership of your responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage your own portfolio of institutional clients for the UK.
- Market Insights & Idea Sharing: Stay informed on market developments and share relevant trading ideas with colleagues to enhance team performance.
- Transaction Management: Facilitate and arrange transactions between institutional clients, ensuring smooth execution and optimal outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a win-together mentality by working closely with team members, sharing knowledge, and supporting less experienced colleagues.
- Mentoring: Act as a mentor, offering guidance and support to junior team members to help them develop in their roles.
What You'll Bring
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Fixed Income Markets in a client-facing role with UK-based clients.
- Education: An academic degree in finance and/or economics.
- Commercial Drive: Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to client relationships and market opportunities.
- Languages: Proficient in English.
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam, with occasional travel required for business purposes.
This role offers the chance to play a critical part in the UK Fixed Income market, working with a dynamic team and building strong client relationships while further developing your career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
