We are seeking a
Freelance Mechatronics Engineer (ZZP)
to support a 6-month project involving the
design and assembly of electrical cabinets
as well as
integration of hybrid systems
. This role combines hands-on electrical engineering with additional mechanical or software tasks to support multi-disciplinary automation projects.

You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure cabinets are built to specification, compliant with standards, and fully integrated with mechanical and software components.

Your Role

• Design, assemble, and test
  electrical cabinets
  using
  ePlan
  or equivalent software.
• Ensure all cabinet designs and assemblies meet applicable
  standards and safety regulations
  .
• Apply hybrid skills to support
  mechanical and software integration
  within automation systems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Document work and maintain accurate project records.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in
  electrical cabinet design and build
  .
• Proficient in
  ePlan
  or similar electrical design software.
• Familiarity with
  standards related to cabinet construction and safety
  .
• Hybrid technical background — experience in
  mechanical engineering, automation, or software
  is a plus.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned project tasks.
• Fluent in
  English
  ; Dutch is advantageous.
• Registered
  ZZP'er
  and eligible to work in the Netherlands.
• Available for full-time, on-site or hybrid work in Overijssel.

Bonus Skills

• Hands-on experience with
  automation or industrial control systems
  .
• Knowledge of
  PLC integration
  or mechanical assembly within industrial environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills across
  multi-disciplinary engineering challenges

This is a
high-profile 6-month freelance project
