Programmatic Account Manager, Ads

Our Agency team, is looking for an experienced Programmatic Account Manager to join the Amazon Ads team based in Amsterdam. As a Programmatic Account Manager you will manage the end-to-end experience of our enterprise agency and advertiser clients, driving the overall adoption of our programmatic advertising DSP. The Programmatic Account Manager has expertise in advertising technology and programmatic advertising, and is leveraging this expertise to develop our customers into proficient users. You nurture customer relationships, identify/close revenue driving actions and develop your agency portfolio. Additionally, you will be able to leverage Amazon's proprietary data to provide strategic and personalized campaign recommendations to meet your customer's business goals. This role is highly collaborative, working with Sales, GTM Creative & Product. The Programmatic Account Manager's strategic digital expertise is considered critical to unlocking greater value and impact for our agency partners.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the relationship with trading desk managers and provide consultative services such as onboarding, feature training, continuous product usage consultation, and industry best practices.
• Use knowledge of Amazon Advertising full-funnel ad products and measurement to craft tailored proposals for customers.
• Hit or exceed revenue targets for assigned book of business.
• Own all facets of the account management process for agencies, and develop strategic relationships with key points of contact.
• Use first-party and third-party insights to build pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight campaign-level recommendations that lead to revenue outcomes or increased customer satisfaction.
• Educate agencies & advertisers on performance metrics, category trends/approaches, and consumer insights using existing and/or customized insights.
• Advocate for customers internally, and utilize internal resources, to drive customer success.

• 2+ year of experience in digital advertising and client facing roles
• Experience in programmatic advertising, DSPs, and/or ad tech
• Experience in digital media including display/search advertising, campaign optimization, analytics platforms, client management and business development.
• Able to effectively present to and confidently communicate with B2B customers
• Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
• Have good judgement and use large datasets to solve problems that span business and technology
• Passion for always learning and developing new skills
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration skills with experience developing customer relationships and influencing key decision-makers
• Bachelor degree or similar. Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French

• Salesforce proficiency
• Strong analytical experience
