Objective of the position
As a Senior Customer Support Representative, you act as the primary contact for key accounts, managing the entire order process from quotation to delivery. You collaborate with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive process improvements. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you resolve escalations, identify bottlenecks, and lead customer meetings to deliver timely, effective solutions.

Characterization of activities

  • Serve as the primary contact for key customers, handling inquiries, providing product information, and resolving issues.
  • Manage quotations and oversee the complete order process to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Maintain customer data in the CRM system and proactively communicate delivery schedules or changes.
  • Monitor backlog, escalate issues internally when necessary, and support colleagues with escalations.
  • Lead cross-department improvement initiatives and report on delivery performance and demand trends.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and participate in customer meetings and visits, both domestic and international.

Education, Experience And Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education and practical experience.
  • Proven experience in a customer support role with strong order handling and CRM skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is an advantage.
  • Technical affinity and eagerness to learn product details.
  • Strong coordination abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning new software tools; experience with Exact Globe and Power BI is a plus.
  • Driven towards continuous improvement, flexible, positive, and highly organized.

What We Offer

  • Salary based on knowledge and experience.
  • Full-time employment of 40 hours per week.
  • 8% holiday allowance.
  • Travel allowance home-work: 23ct per kilometers one way up to a maximum of 50 km
  • CAO: Metalektro HP
  • Retirement: PME (Pensioenfonds Metalektro).
  • WIA: WIA floor, WGA gap and WGA gap additional insurances in accordance with the stipulated provisions.
  • PAWW: Compulsory supplementary insurance when the statutory unemployment WW or WGA benefit expires.
  • Holiday days: 27 days on an annual basis (full-time).
  • ATV: 13 days on an annual basis (full-time)
