Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role (location Amsterdam) for a
Software Engineer
. You will be  be responsible for implementing new trading algorithms and other new functionality in Rust, collaborating with other software engineers and quantitative analysts to understand and improve trading behavior. You will participate in the design of new system components, analyse and optimise performance, in code and across networked systems. We are looking for someone who takes full ownership of their work and has the drive to push ideas into production. You should be confident in making decisions, assertive when improvements are needed, and motivated to lead changes that strengthen both our systems and our trading results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, memory management and low-latency code
• Solid ability to test, benchmark and fine-tune ultra-low latency code
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under high-pressure conditions
• Excellent communication skills, including reporting and documentation
• Experience with financial markets is not required; an interest in the subject is.
