EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
team ensures that IFF's policies are translated into practical procedures for all employees at our Tilburg site. As an
Environmental Engineer
, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and driving sustainability initiatives.

Your Impact

  • Ensure compliance with our environmental permit and all relevant Dutch and EU regulations.
  • Maintain and improve our ISO 14001-certified environmental management system, including energy management programs.
  • Coordinate inspections and enforcement visits from local authorities (OMWB).
  • Prepare and submit environmental permits related to projects (e.g., construction, demolition).
  • Develop and maintain procedures and documentation to support certification and audits.
  • Stay up to date on regulatory developments and translate them into actionable processes for IFF Tilburg.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • At least
    5 years of experience
    in the chemical industry, government, consultancy, or consumer products within an industrial production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Environmental Science
    ,
    Chemical Engineering
    ,
    Chemistry
    , or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Fluency in
    Dutch and English
    .
