Commercial Marketing Intern – Events

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-tobe-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets. 

This role is based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands Office

Join our dynamic Commercial Marketing Team and kickstart your career in marketing We're looking for a creative and proactive intern to help deliver impactful marketing programs that capture exhibitor leads across multiple channels. You'll work closely with our Commercial Marketing Executive to generate and nurture leads throughout the sales funnel. Your fresh ideas will play a key role in developing campaigns that engage our audience and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Analyze and manage data to enhance marketing efforts.
• Project Briefs: Write clear and concise briefs for our creative teams.
• Campaign Development: Bring fresh ideas to create engaging marketing campaigns.
• Content Creation: Design content such as infographics to support campaigns.
• Project Coordination: Help keep projects on track and ensure timely delivery.

We'll provide guidance and support every step of the way. Your enthusiasm and creativity will make a real impact as you take on various marketing tasks.

Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Skills:

• Passion for marketing and business development.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable team player eager to make a difference.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams.
• Creative thinker with innovative marketing ideas.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (experience with tools like Asana is a bonus, but we'll teach you).

Experience: Previous marketing or sales experience is welcome but not required.

This internship opportunity is available for up to 6 months, starting on January 5th, 2026.
