Internship: Test Automation Engineer at Siemens

Join Siemens eMobility Charging and help shape the future of e-mobility We're looking for a Test Automation Engineer Intern to boost the quality and reliability of our Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) products. If you're eager to learn, love solving problems, and want to make real impact, this internship is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain automated test cases for system and hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Transform manual test cases into efficient automated scripts
  • Debug, refine, and optimize automated tests
  • Work with modern tools like Python, Robot Framework, GitLab, Jira/Xray
  • Collaborate in an agile development team through stand-ups, reviews, and discussions

What You'll Learn

  • Core test automation principles and best practices

  • Hands-on experience with real Siemens software

  • Working with industry-standard frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

  • Professional debugging, documentation, and communication skills

Your Journey

From onboarding and learning the product, to developing a fully functional automated test suite, you'll be guided through every step by an experienced mentor. You'll deliver robust test scripts, clear reports, and a final presentation of your results.

You Are

A curious, proactive Bachelor student with basic programming skills (Python is a plus) and a passion for software quality and automation.
