Business Data Analysis Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Data Analysis Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will support the monthly reporting and analysis of Sales Out and Inventory data submitted by Fluke's channel partners. You will work closely with the FP&A team to ensure data quality, identify business opportunities, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Rework and process monthly Sales Out and Inventory reports received from Fluke's channel partners.
• Analyze submitted data to identify quality defects, inconsistencies, and potential business opportunities.
• Participate in ongoing projects to optimize and automate reporting processes, including:
• Leveraging and enhancing the RPA bot developed in 2024.
• Developing tools and workflows for reporting tasks not efficiently handled by the RPA bot.
• Support the FP&A department's BI Analyst with small-scale data and reporting projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Must be enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Affinity with data processing, validation, and analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
• Background in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
