Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be part of our Product & Engineering team, helping shape the Booking Experts platform. Working closely with specialists in Engineering and Product Management, you'll be involved throughout the entire process. From discovery to delivery.

Designing for the leisure industry is your main focus, such as holiday parks, hotels, and resorts. You dive deep into the world of park managers, receptionists, and marketers to understand how they work and where they struggle. By uncovering pain points, you craft simple, creative, and intuitive solutions that truly make a difference. Complex challenges don't overwhelm you. You streamline them through smart automation without compromising on design quality.

At Booking Experts, you'll work with our in-house Design System: designing interfaces, expanding the system, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes. You'll analyse how new features align with user needs and take ownership of delivering an optimal user experience. You'll collaborate closely with the frontend team, while enjoying a high degree of creative freedom.

Together with Engineers, Designers, Product Managers, and Marketers, you'll ensure consistent, polished communication and present your ideas with confidence. Both internally and externally.

Key reponsibilities:

• Automating processes through strong design and problem-solving skills;

• Defining design requirements based on domain knowledge and user research;

• Identifying opportunities to improve automation across the platform;

• Analysing how releases align with user needs and expectations;

• Staying up to date with developments in your field.

With the BEX App Store, recreation businesses can further expand BEX PMS and tailor it to their needs in terms of process automation and optimisation. This results in more direct bookings and increased guest satisfaction. In this way, we comprehensively support holiday parks with automation, digitalisation, and smart integrations.

• BEX PMS: For managing all back-office operations.

• Search and book: For stimulating direct bookings via the park's own website.

• BEX CMS: For building user-friendly websites that are seamlessly integrated with BEX PMS.

At Booking Experts, we're looking for a Senior Product Designer with a passion for design and a drive for continuous improvement. You're curious by nature, ask the right questions, and embrace new challenges with confidence.

You have experience across all stages of the design process, including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and interaction design. You empathise deeply with end users, work confidently with Design Systems, and have a sharp eye for detail. You're also able to make informed design decisions, even without user testing.

You have:

• A minimum of Bachelor's degree level of education or equivalent experience;

• Strong command of the English language;

• At least five years of experience as a Product Designer;

• Proficiency with tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite;

• A strong sense of empathy and user understanding;

• A creative, solution-oriented mindset.
