About this vacancy

As a **Project Leader Public Space** at TMC, you manage integral projects related to the design, redevelopment, and maintenance of streets, squares, green spaces, and sewer systems. You are responsible for the entire process: from the initiation phase and design coordination to tendering and realization. You oversee both internal and external parties, monitor budgets and schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders such as residents, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. Whether it involves inner-city redevelopment, climate-adaptive solutions, or participation processes: you ensure structure, support, and progress. At TMC, you collaborate with experienced professionals in our Business Cell Civil Engineering and have the opportunity to further develop your leadership, technical expertise, and organizational talent.

What we expect from you
  • A completed higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Development, or similar.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in public spaces as a project leader, manager, or consultant.
  • Experience with project management, procurement, participation, and administrative processes.
  • You navigate smoothly between technical, policy, and operational aspects.
  • You have strong communication skills, are decisive, and capable of connecting people.
  • Familiarity with project methodologies such as IPM, Prince2, or similar is considered a plus.
